Well, it wasn't actually Memorial Day, but the day before we traveled up to visit Nana and Joel. We had an old-fashioned cookout with burgers, hot dogs, potato salad, deviled eggs, beans and chips. We got to see the house that they are building. We tried to fly kites, but the wind just wouldn't cooperate. And we got to visit a lot! It was a great day to enjoy the company of family!
