At one of Em's Daisy meetings, the girls tried on different girl scout uniforms from the past. It was a very cute fashion show, and the girls had a lot of fun!

Hayley's 8yr Rite of Passage
In sticking with tradition, Hayley got her ears pierced for her 8th birthday. We actually went to the mall a couple of days early, and she shed no tears. Here's her before and after:

2nd Grade to City Council!
During the month of March, the Second Grade Class displayed artwork depicting the historical homes of downtown McKinney. The class was also invited to be honored during the City Council meeting. I was surprised at the low turnout, but was so happy we went!

Princess Hayley
Hayley got invited to her best friend, Ben's, birthday party. The theme was to dress up in royal attire, and believe it or not, we don't have a lot of princess stuff around. Luckily, Target had this really pretty dress and a tiara. Hayley looked quite the princess for the party!
